Carly Burruss is a singer/songwriter, actor, and comedian based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Carly grew up playing piano and singing in church. The daughter of a schoolteacher and cabinet maker from Cumming, Georgia, her love for music and comedy stemmed from the Dolly Parton and Ray Stevens records she found in her grandparents' home and the nights she snuck out to watch SNL reruns. She taught herself guitar and took the stage for the first time with her all-girl bluegrass band The Sawnee Mountain Train Wreck in 2012.

Touring since 2014, Carly opened for Sister Hazel, Kasey Chambers, Ruston Kelly, Dwight Yoakam, Lee Ann Womack and shared the stage with Keith Urban. She built a loyal following on The Rock Boat and Florida Georgia Line's "This Is How We Cruise." Her EP Southern Pace marks a new era in which her songwriting reaches the next level - still cheeky, but digging deeper.

Carly trained at The Groundlings in Los Angeles and has spent the last three years doing stand-up. On screen, she starred on Scare Tactics, the hidden-camera series where unsuspecting people get dropped into their own horror movie. She also works in commercials and modeling and hosted a stage at 2023’s Rock the Country Music Festival.
